Clarify what "ignore" means and which alerts are repeated

Stage: Active

Campaign: Websitedefender

Alerts for conditions that are not rectified on the server by the user/site owner (or marked "resolved" or "ignored") are regenerated with every scan. Eventually this accumulates a string of separate alert items (and email notices) for the same condition. It would be better to consolidate repeated alerts within a single alert that is updated and refreshed with an indication of how long it has been present. Additionally, ...more »

Custom Notification Triggers

Stage: Active

Campaign: Websitedefender

In the current setup you don't really have any control over the results, duration between scans, and when email notifications are sent out. I would like to see: 1. To be able to change the category of a scan result. For example, from informational, to low 2. To change the scan time from once a week to once a day for paid users ( I believe I was told once a day is only for paid ) 3. To be able to set when a category ...more »

logo websitedefender certified

Stage: Active

Campaign: Websitedefender

would be verynice to be able to place a script in our footers, showing a websitedefender logo.

That logo would display last scan date, and result.

By clicking on this logo, user would go to your website, so bringing more people to you ;)

exactly like McAffee does. Look at this web page footer:

http://www.ace-host.net/

PS : a wordpress plugin would be nice too :p

Editing the Site Instance & UI suggestion

Stage: Active

Campaign: Websitedefender

For editing the site instance I would like to see:

To be able to change the name from a url to something like a host providers name ( if grouping isn't allowed )

I would also like to see an option to add a new site after creating a site so I don't have to be brought back to the dashboard.

Also, it would be nice to see a second 'Add New website' button at the time of the page.

Dashboard on multi-site beta

Stage: Active

Campaign: Websitedefender

I don't like having the top listing in the multi-site beta EXPANDED by default. If you are not interested in that particular site, you either have to scroll to see others off the page or have to close the expanded top listing and then open another. If it were possible to select which site appears as the top listing, then maybe O.K., but still would rather have all sites unexpanded as the default.

Improvements to current interface

Stage: Active

Campaign: Websitedefender

After the latest interface changes, there are some new and old things that don't work well. 1) On the top-level dashboard screen for a site, alerts can only be read. No action can be taken until you click them individually. 2) Once you click through to an individual alert, some sites lead to a screen where you can click a button that says "ignore alerts category" (Ignore this whole category of alert?) but there is ...more »

Expanding lists to 100 options on one page

Stage: Active

Campaign: Websitedefender

When dealing with a list like Website file modification-date changed

It would be useful to choose the amount of options there are shown on a page e.g. extend the list on one page to 100 items

A lot of these changes pertain to plugins and therefore I have often been dealing with up to 200 entries

Would like to be able to manage these all more quickly rather than by looking at 15 pages of changes

Match changed files to plugin updates

Stage: Active

Campaign: Websitedefender

If a Wordpress plugin or Wordpress itself needs an update, you get an alert. This is very helpful, but after updating the software you will get more alerts for the files that changed because of the update. You'll probably just mass-ignore or resolve them, which does not help security. Ideally file changes that probably have to do with an update should at least be segregated in a special item that flags them as changes ...more »

Handle redirected URLs

Stage: Active

Campaign: Websitedefender

If the URL submitted for scanning has a 301 redirect (e.g., to a different domain or non-www canonical URL) this should not result in an error but an explanation that the redirect destination address will be used instead if the user proceeds.
