multiple logins for the same account
I'd like to have multiple users that can login to the same account without having to share a common email address and password.
Thanks
In this community, you can submit ideas, vote on existing ideas, or add comments.
To submit an idea, please click the new idea button below. You will then be asked to add a title and choose a category for the new idea. You will also have the option to add tags to the idea. To vote on an idea, simply click the up or down thumb to the left of the idea title/description. And to add a comment, click in the box below the idea.
If you would like to see all ideas created with a specific tag, you can click on the word or phrase via the tagcloud in the left navigation area under "What we're discussing". You can also view ideas sorted by Categories from the left navigation area. To return to this page, click the All Ideas link.

I just signed up and had a problem with an existing security system, and had to white-list your ips, you scan ran and failed me before that.
their should be an allowed number of manual checks a week.
Remove obsolete plugins from WP directory or better indicate the differences and the preferred one to use.
Joomla's free and commercial security extensions currently provide a fraction of Website Defender's features and value. This is a market where there is quite a need for accessible security services.
Especially with multiple sites, scan results are voluminous and frequent. Some "ignored" alerts cannot be gotten rid of--they generate new alert items and emails over and over.
It would be awesome if we could assign groups in the dashboard so that we can easily contact the necessary person to update their sites.
In the current setup you don't really have any control over the results, duration between scans, and when email notifications are sent out. I would like to see: 1. To be able to change the category of a scan result. For example, from informational, to low 2. To change the scan time from once a week to once a day for paid users ( I believe I was told once a day is only for paid ) 3. To be able to set when a category ...more »

3. To be able to set when a category or tier of Notifications are sent out, whether its restricting emails so low alerts are not being sent from every site, cluttering the inbox. Or, if its just setting up a certain scan time and the Email Notifications are just sent out when it finishes.
In the alert section of a site instance, I like that fact we can choose to ignore an alert, but I would like to see setting an alert to ignore work more like a global label for the site instance then having to click it over time a scan goes through.

Alerts for conditions that are not rectified on the server by the user/site owner (or marked "resolved" or "ignored") are regenerated with every scan. Additionally, it is unclear what exactly "ignore" accomplishes. The FAQ indicates that "ignored" item "types" will not be repeated. Does this mean all alerts about unobfuscated email addresses will not be made anymore if I ignore one alert of this type? That would not be useful--it should be "ignore this alert and all future repetitions of it" instead.

Allow sites or groups of sites to be placed in any order (permanently) instead of just the default alphabetical sort. Also add the favicon or thumbshot to visually distinguish each site.
Detection should also include infected .htaccess files, and better pattern recognition for .php files such as 'exec' and 'eval(gzuncompress'
Hi,
It would be great if I can entery my own IP address from the PC I am updating my sites so that changes made using this IP address get ignorde in the WebsiteDefender reports.
Right now, I get one email for each domain on my account. As my number of domains increases, so does my email clutter. Can you combine all email notifications for all domains into one email?
would be verynice to be able to place a script in our footers, showing a websitedefender logo.
That logo would display last scan date, and result.
By clicking on this logo, user would go to your website, so bringing more people to you ;)
exactly like McAffee does. Look at this web page footer:
PS : a wordpress plugin would be nice too :p
Make the dashboard area more accessible to mobile devices or (better) create a mobile app with the option to receive alerts through it.
When dealing with a list like Website file modification-date changed
It would be useful to choose the amount of options there are shown on a page e.g. extend the list on one page to 100 items
A lot of these changes pertain to plugins and therefore I have often been dealing with up to 200 entries
Would like to be able to manage these all more quickly rather than by looking at 15 pages of changes
Add links to notification emails allowing users to take action on reported items individually or an entire category of alerts.
For editing the site instance I would like to see:
To be able to change the name from a url to something like a host providers name ( if grouping isn't allowed )
I would also like to see an option to add a new site after creating a site so I don't have to be brought back to the dashboard.
Also, it would be nice to see a second 'Add New website' button at the time of the page.
WebsiteDefender would be a great app to have at CloudFlare.
Login (and stay logged in) with your Google (etc.) account.
After the latest interface changes, there are some new and old things that don't work well. 1) On the top-level dashboard screen for a site, alerts can only be read. No action can be taken until you click them individually. 2) Once you click through to an individual alert, some sites lead to a screen where you can click a button that says "ignore alerts category" (Ignore this whole category of alert?) but there is ...more »

1) On the top-level dashboard screen for a site, alerts can only be read. No action can be taken until you click them individually.
2) Once you click through to an individual alert, some sites lead to a screen where you can click a button that says "ignore alerts category" (Ignore this whole category of alert?) but there is no button for "resolve." Other screens for the same type of alert still have the old interface with both "ignore" and "resolved" buttons.
This inconsistency is confusing and the new screen with "ignore alerts category" does not make it clear what this means while it's harder to simply resolve or ignore the alert--for that you have to go another level deep.
One or two levels of depth only would be preferred, and clarification of the main action options is needed. All you need are two buttons, "resolved" and "ignore." When "ignore" is clicked, simply offer radio buttons for the following options: "ignore just this alert," "ignore all future instances of just this alert," and "ignore all alerts of this type."

I don't like having the top listing in the multi-site beta EXPANDED by default. If you are not interested in that particular site, you either have to scroll to see others off the page or have to close the expanded top listing and then open another. If it were possible to select which site appears as the top listing, then maybe O.K., but still would rather have all sites unexpanded as the default.
It would be interesting to give the possibility to have exporting and saving option for scan reports to give them to clients.
Hosting services have an interest in helping users stay secure with applications like Wordpress. Some, like Media Temple, have streamlined the process for their users to use SaaS tools like CloudFlare. Website Defender is a natural fit for them as well, a suggestion I've made to them directly.
If the URL submitted for scanning has a 301 redirect (e.g., to a different domain or non-www canonical URL) this should not result in an error but an explanation that the redirect destination address will be used instead if the user proceeds.
Every virtual host is considered a separate entity, even if it is defined as a symbolic link to another virtual host, so a separate alert is triggered for each one. Multiple alerts for what is essentially the same thing are generally undesirable and should at a minimum be possible to globally deactivate.
